Abstract

This essay is a qualitative case study that aims to investigate how women's human rights are being violated in India between 2010 and 2022 in accordance with the rights outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and how this affects the female population based on gender approaches. The research questions addressed in this essay are: how are women's human rights being violated, and how does this affect women in India? What impact does gender have on Indian society and the female population? Gender studies and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights were used as research theories. Based on the findings of the essay, it is possible to conclude that violation of the declaration occurs in India, but not to the extent anticipated. Gender has changed.
