Abstract

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that organisational research should place a significant emphasis on the flexibility of human resource management. Companies operating in the 21st century need to have a flexible system as part of their portfolio. This system should enable people to evolve with diverse job skills and talents so that the company can maintain its position in a result-driven environment that is competitive. In light of this, the goal of the current research is to establish a complete theoretical framework in order to investigate the interaction between the flexibility of human resource management and the efficacy of organisational management. In addition, it makes an effort to determine the possible role that organisational citizenship conduct and employee intend to remain on the relationship between human resource flexibility and the effectiveness of the organisation. The method of conducting a comprehensive and up-to-date literature study is used in this research as a basis for conducting an in-depth examination and rationalisation of the impact that human resource flexibility has on organisational success for Indian organisations. The findings and conclusions of the review offer a thorough theoretical framework on which to base the development of a conceptual model of human resource flexibility. The model that has been suggested takes into account the adaptability of human resources, as well as elements of organisational success, organisational citizenship behaviour, and employee intent to remain.
